This page serves to list what kind of work has to be done by our artist(s).
We're aiming to achieve a rather high quality on our graphical content, as this game will be a merge between underwater and surface environment, which gives us a great opportunity to add as many beatiful details as time and motivation allows us to.
In-game
- Backgrounds (the bottom of the sea, the sea itself, the surface+skies)
- "Character" - The fish/whale you'll be controlling. We had an idea that you might get upgraded as the game progresses, so there's a chance we'll need multiple characters.
- Enemies - This has not been discussed yet, but I was thinking it would be kinda cool of the ocasional shark could come after you, you would have to dodge it, and the shark would be caught in the net.
- Pickups/points - Small fish, crumbs, anything eatable.
- Hostile Objects - All the fishing nets, hooks, trawlers etc.
- Ships - If we decide to have a visible surface then I guess we'll also need visible ships up there.
- Animations - We'd like to have animations for as many objects and creatures as possible.
GUI
- All kinds of buttons and whatnots.
- A pointer.
- Backgroundscreens for the beginning and end (game over) screen.
- Possibly a unique background for every new screen, like a different background in the opening screen and the credits screen.
